Las empresas hoy en día deben apostar por las nuevas formas de publicitar servicios en páginas web, además, emprender nuevos métodos para realizar sus anuncios y generar interés en los consumidores.
Atrás quedaron los anuncios en forma de pop-ups, spots animados, banners y otros formatos de publicidad online intrusivos y a menudo no relevantes. Los cuales solo generaban molestias a los usuarios que accedían a sitios web con este tipo de publicidad.
Con la llegada de la web 2.0 se incorporaron las nuevas formas de hacer publicidad en internet y es donde se refuerza el término de publicidad contextual.
Nos referimos a esta, como el tipo de publicidad en internet que se adapta al contenido de la página web donde se muestra. Entendamos también como un nuevo medio publicitario que presenta una publicidad segmentada por contenidos y que se basa en la introducción de enlaces patrocinados en sitios web. De esta manera una página web sobre perros mostrará publicidad para alimentos para perros.
La publicidad contextual fue potenciada por el buscador Google que utiliza el método Adwords – Adsense para hacer este tipo de publicidad patrocinada, mediante esta técnica google busca sitios relacionados con el producto y que hayan accedido a este tipo de publicidad, así ubicara el anuncio dentro de la página web.
Ventajas que ofrece la publicidad contextual:
- -Posibilidad de realizar campañas publicitarias a muy bajo coste.
- -Segmentación del mercado tanto por grupos de interés como por zonas geográficas
- -El anunciante solo paga por el anuncio en el momento que un cliente se interesa por él.
- -No realiza una campaña agresiva que puede llegar a incordiar al consumidor y hacer que el anuncio pase desapercibido y por lo tanto no cause ninguna sensación por parte del receptor del mensaje.
- - Permite al anunciante hacer un seguimiento de los resultados y beneficios que reporta.
Observando el crecimiento de este tipo de publicidad dentro de la red nos preguntamos ¿Cuál es el secreto del la efectividad de la publicidad contextual?
La respuesta es una inteligente segmentación. El secreto no es pues el diseño gráfico, las propuestas de los sofisticados creativos o cosas similares. El secreto está en seleccionar adecuadamente el sitio donde se situa nuestro anuncio. Observando las ventajas que ofrece la publicidad contextual podemos afirmar que este nuevo medio se trata de la técnica más democrática en cuanto a publicidad se refiere, ya que cualquier persona puede convertirse en anunciante sea cual sea su naturaleza o tamaño.

Es importante que las empresas empiezen a valorar este tipo de publicidad, ya que si la comparamos con la publicidad tradicional, efectivamente se reducen muchisimo sus costes y se centralizan muy bien las audiencias

muchisima razon no lo es todo el diseño grafico si no el contenido mas que nada , aunque toda la gente es lo que hace solamente se deja llevar por lo que ven de diseño no por lo que nos ofrece sin embargo yo no uso mucho la publicidad y hasta aveces no le ago caso pero si me fijo simpre el contenido y lo que ofrece
